Who We Are

The Round Lake Area Park District is located in the northwest suburbs of Lake County Illinois. We consist of five district communities have over 60 parks sites operate a nature museum childrens museum outdoor aquatic facility preschool indoor soccer field 18-hole golf course and ample indoor recreation space.

What Youll Do

• Lead and mentor recreation staff to deliver exceptional programs and services.
• Plan and execute community-wide special events that bring people together.
• Collaborate with schools organizations and civic leaders to enhance community offerings.
• Manage multiple projects with precision creativity and a solutions-first mindset.

What Were Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in recreation or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A creative thinker who thrives on solving challenges.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating large-scale events.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• CPRP or ability to obtain within 12 months.
