Purpose of position
The Global MEAL Manager leads the development harmonization and implementation of MEAL frameworks tools and standards across the organisation. The role contribute to program design and delivery are informed by evidence and learning while meeting donor expectations for monitoring evaluation accountability and learning. Moreover the role ensures that evidence and learning are generated collaboratively with country teams and partners.

Main areas of responsibility
Strategic MEAL Coordination
- Integrate MEAL Across Programs: Embed MEAL in all stages of the program cycle ensuring alignment with global standards and LM International priorities.
- Promote Accountability & Ethics: Safeguard participants through ethical data practices and strengthen feedback mechanisms for affected populations.
- Drive Evidence & Innovation: Use data for learning and advocacy while leveraging digital tools remote monitoring and AI for adaptive management.
Technical Oversight & System Development
- Develop & Align Systems: Oversee data management systems ensuring quality security and accessibility and align Lime with MEAL practices for data collection analysis and reporting.
- Standardize & Assure Quality: Provide technical review for MEAL components in proposals and reports and standardize tools methodologies and reporting formats across programs.
Global Coordination and cross-departmental processes
- Coordinate & Align Globally: Collaborate across departments to integrate MEAL into organizational goals and reporting and keep global offices regions and partners informed.
- Engage Externally: Liaise with donors for compliance and represent LM International in networks to advocate on MEAL-related issues.
Capacity Building
- Build MEAL Capacity: Train mentor and provide technical support to country teams; develop guidance toolkits and resources for MEAL implementation.
- Promote Learning & Accountability: Conduct training on accountability and participatory approaches facilitate learning reviews and share lessons learned for adaptive management.
- Strengthen Collaboration & Quality: Work with program and finance teams and conduct assessments with offices and partners to ensure quality learning and continuous improvement.
Qualification and Requirement
- Degree or equivalent work experience in International Development Statistics Data Analytics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in MEAL roles including at least 2 years in a global or multi-country context.
- Experience in proposal design and donor reporting (e.g. SIDA DANIDA NORAD EU and UN agencies).
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis tools.
- Excellent facilitation training and capacity-building skills.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- High proficiency in English
- Knowledge in French is an advantage

Contract: Full-time with a 6-month probation period
