The Banquet Attendant plays an active and autonomous role in ensuring the smooth execution of events. We are offering winter internship opportunities at Alt Hotel Montreal for a period of 6 months starting in January 2026.
WHAT YOULL DO
Provide support to the Meetings & Banquets and Sales teams
Deliver high-quality service while collaborating with multiple departments
Assist in managing requests for meeting and banquet rooms (corporate or social events) in collaboration with Business Development Managers
Support the coordination of activities in line with contractual agreements working with other departments and external suppliers
Participate in the setup and teardown of breakfast areas meeting and banquet rooms and ensure meal and coffee break service
Meet or contact clients when needed to help plan their event and be present for certain major events
WHAT YOULL BRING
High school diploma or equivalent an asset
Experience in food & beverage service an asset
Strong time-management skills and adaptability
Determination and a strong team spirit
- Strong communication skills in French & English
Good physical condition: ability to stand for long periods lift loads and perform some repetitive tasks
