Simulation Engineer

Job Overview:

Job Overview: We are seeking a Simulation Engineer to join our Mechanical Team in this role you will independently develop and validate simulation models to assess the structural behavior of our solar tracker systems. You will analyze mechanical components under different loading conditions and collaborate with cross-functional teams including global counterparts. This role targets professionals with 3 to 6 years of experience in structural simulation and offers the opportunity to influence product quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nonlinear and modal FEA for mechanical structures.
• Validate mechanical designs and verify structural performance.
• Partner with Design NPI and Test teams globally to align deliverables.
• Deliver structured and well-documented simulation reports.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize mechanical components.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in structural simulation FEA or related roles.
• Relevant experience in renewable energy automotive or similar sectors.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Ansys Abaqus or similar software.
• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks CATIA AutoCAD).
• Strong grasp of mechanics materials and fatigue behavior.

Language Skills:

• Fluency in Portuguese (native) and proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality engineering work.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Solar Energy Experience: Familiarity with solar trackers PV systems or renewable energy technologies is a strong advantage.

- Project Management: Experience in managing analysis projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

- Sustainability Focus: A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
