Responsibilities
Interacts with clients on a frequent basis (i.e. daily weekly or monthly) as needed under the scope of each engagement
Responds timely to client inquiries
Keeps the Supervising Senior Manager Director and/or Partner informed of any developments or issues on client accounts
Timely performs assigned recurring accounting duties in accordance with engagement scope. These can include but are not limited to: (a) posting accounts payable or accounts receivable transactions (b) paying vendor and expenses due and (c) depositing checks and ensuring all bank transactions are properly recorded
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven and thorough understanding of double entry accounting
At least two years experience in an accounting function
Demonstrated performance of accounting tasks (both processing of transactions and maintenance of accounting records)
Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e. read write speak) with business level fluency in English
Self starter with proven ability to identify issues wherever possible
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
This is a part-time position and will require up to 24 hours/week
$32 - $36 an hour
