Position Title: Cybersecurity Instructional Assistant
Office: Columbus OH
Reports To: Site Director
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity Instructional Assistant to join our organization. This person will join our Curriculum & Adult Learning organization. They will be responsible for the following:
Overall Focus:
Candidates should be able to provide effective support in the classroom and be eager to grow their own technical knowledge. In particular they should be able to:
- Assist the lead instructor both in and out-of-class in the teaching and administration of the class.
- Display knowledge and/or interest in the following areas: information technology software and hardware support network administration technology education
What Youll Do:
Out-of-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist and/or collaborate with the instructor to:
- Grade and/or review assessments class projects and other materials
- Enter student grades into LMS software and grading templates
- Update Salesforce data as necessary
- Review curriculum materials and assessments weekly and report to instructor and curriculum development team any proofreading or subject-matter errors
- Assist instructor with the preparation of daily agenda to students
- Schedule time with instructor and students to discuss class challenges
- Monitor learner attendance certifications progress etc.
In-Class Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Monitor class as it is in progress - checking that overall functionality (audio video screen appearance etc.) is working as needed
- Serve as class timekeeper monitor breaks and other scheduling information
- Monitor students during test-taking and break-out group activities
- Note challenges presented during class including (but not limited to) students who:
- Seem disengaged or uninvolved with class activities
- Are speaking more than other students (dominating) or are typically quiet

For this role specifically we are targeting an hourly of $18.00/hr.
