Job Summary
Carry out chemical/physical test.
Evaluation and test of coating of different chemical nature properties and end use (furniture windows flooring etc)
Characterization of wet and dry paint film or coated surfaces in general.
Basic assessment of physical properties (gloss level color haptic etc.)
Basic assessment of mechanical properties (cold liquids resistance scratch resistance adhesion etc.)
Results collection and presentation for both technical and sales/marketing purposes.
Customer support related activities like visits and new products field tests.
Customer support in administrative activities (quotes invoices sending reports samples managing)
Ensure all laboratory operations comply with accreditation requirements (e.g. ISO 17025).
Assist in internal audits and prepare documentation for external accreditation body reviews.
Monitor changes in relevant regulations and standards ensuring the labs practices remain compliant.
Calibrate and validate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure they function within specified tolerances.
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments ensuring minimal downtime and accurate results.
Keep up-to-date records of all calibration activities repairs and equipment performance
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelors degreein Chemistry or equivalent
Previous Lab experience.Experience of analyzing knowledge of English Basic math skills: proficient in using Technologies & software programs such as Excel PowerPoint Word and the Internet
