Job Description
We are delighted to welcome applications for the permanent role of Head of Year at Hartford Church of England High School.
Our school is a great place to work! We have brilliant students talented and committed staff and supportive parents. Our most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2023 demonstrated that we are a good and improving school and our ambition is to make Hartford Church of England High School an outstanding place to learn and work.

We would welcome applications from teachers of any subject for this role however we would be particularly pleased to hear from teachers of English Music Science or Food Technology.

Hartford enjoys fantastic transport links being close to both the A49 and A556 with fast links to both the M6 and M56. There are two mainline railway stations within two minutes of the school and Manchester International Airport is only 25 minutes away. Many parents utilise the excellent transport links to work in Manchester Chester Liverpool Warrington or beyond.
The school is situated in a beautiful part of Cheshire providing easy access to areas for walking riding cycling sailing and canoeing. The National Parks of North Wales the Peak District the Lake District are all within easy transport reach.
Hartford Church of England High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. As part of this process all staff and volunteers are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Online checks will be carried out on any candidates selected for interview.
