Join Equans as Senior Project Manager within the section Nuclear Projects & Operations part of our Specialized Nuclear Services (SNS) Department. Youll oversee large-scale nuclear projects from start to finish ensuring safety efficiency and excellence at every step.
Your work location: Grimbergen Dessel Villers-le-Bouillet with occasional projects abroad in France or Germany
Zoom on the job:
- take responsibility for nuclear projects ranging from 500k to 10M
- manage the full project lifecycle from tendering to final invoicing
- plan organize lead and control projects & related business activities to meet commercial operational financial and customer objectives
- coach and guide your team of project engineers experts and technicians
- ensure compliance with safety security and quality standards
- negotiate with clients partners and subcontractors in cooperation with legal tendering and procurement teams
- monitor project performance budgets and resources reporting regularly to the Section Manager
- collaborate with other Project Managers across the SNS Department to share expertise and align activities
Are we a match
- engineering degree in mechanics chemistry electromechanics or similar
- minimum 7 years of experience as Project Manager preferably with exposure to nuclear or highly regulated environments
- solid knowledge of mechanical concepts; familiarity with nuclear applications is an advantage
- broad general knowledge in areas such as radioprotection chemistry electricity electromechanics automation hydraulics
- strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- IT literacy and good affinity with office tools
- rigorous structured budget performance and results-oriented mindset
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- fluency in Dutch or French and English (German is a plus)

The Department Specialized Nuclear Services (SNS) is part of the Division Energy Transition & Integrated Solutions and operates within the Industry South Business Unit of Equans Belux. The Department comprises two Sections: Nuclear Projects & Operations and Design Engineering & (Fuel) Solutions.
Together they generate a turnover of 35M with a staff of 400 people. Their mission is to deliver total solutions to the nuclear sector including onsite technical services & material handling nuclear logistics characterization decontamination & dismantling projects design & build of nuclear packaging and tooling and various expertise in specific nuclear domains.
