Job Summary
As an Adventure Park Specialist you are in constant contact with guests and participants on a daily basis at this level one can introduce and instruct clients on use of safety equipment as well as a variety of other tasks in Adventure Parks such as supporting rescues. Youd teach guests new skills so they can safely enjoy outdoor adventure park sports and activities such as climbing wall rope courses zip line.
Job duties of the Adventure Park Specialist includes working outdoors and day-to-day aspects of the job and ensuring satisfactory customer service and safety.
Safe fitting of harnesses
Safety briefings and instructions
Constant supervision of clients on the courses
Checking safety devices are attached
Clients using courses as instructed
Providing brief assistance where appropriate
Client retrievals from the course using ladders and technical climbing equipment
Park maintenance:
- Painting safety cables tightening platforms or adjusting activities
- Pruning or landscaping
- Basic gear maintenance
Qualifications :
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience and expertise as an Adventure Park Specialist
- With rope course or Zip line experience and not afraid of heights
- Passionate about the adventure park activities
- Enjoys interacting and working with people
- Has basic experience in rock climbing or ropes (not essential)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must possess a current internationally recognized First Aid/CPR Certification
