As an Innovation Community within the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) we collaborate with over 300 partners across industry academia and research institutes. Together we forge dynamic long-term partnerships to develop innovative solutions that meet Europes growing demand for raw materials.

About the Role

Are you an organised and proactive student with a passion for education and international collaboration Join us as a Working Student (m/f/d) in Education and gain hands-on experience supporting projects events and communications in a dynamic multicultural environment. Youll work closely with our team to help coordinate educational activities manage information and connect with partners and students across Europe. Requirements

  • Enrollment: Must be enrolled as a student (Bachelors or Masters) at a university at least until the end of 2026.
  • Fields of study (preferred but flexible): Education Business Administration Communications European Studies Sustainability Environmental Sciences Materials/Engineering Materials Science or related fields.
  • Availability: Able to work 20 hours per week during the semester (up to 40 hours/week possible during semester breaks).
  • Work authorisation: Eligible to work in Germany as a student.
  • Languages: Very good English skills (written and spoken) ideally with experience working in English in a professional setting.

Skills & Competencies

  • Organisational skills: Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks manage timelines and pay attention to detail.
  • Communication skills: Clear written and verbal communication especially for coordinating with partners universities and industry stakeholders (in English).
  • Digital skills: Confident with MS Office. Bonus: experience with project management tools (e.g. Trello ClickUp Asana Notion) or CRM systems.
  • Proactivity & reliability: Willingness to take ownership of tasks follow through independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player: Collaborative mindset comfortable working in an international environment.
  • Interest in sustainability & raw or advanced materials: Motivation to learn about the raw materials and advanced materials sectors is a plus!

Example Tasks

  • Supporting the organisation of workshops courses and events (logistics scheduling registrations payment/invoicing participant communication).
  • Helping with documentation reporting and database updates.
  • Drafting communication materials (emails presentations updates for the website or intranet).
  • Assisting in partner and student outreach for the EU Raw Materials and Advanced Materials Academies.
  • General administrative tasks (meeting minutes calendar management data entry).
