Project Name: OpenText Support and Development
Scope
The Collaboration and Content Services team requires an OpenText (OT) Analyst to support operational and project work. The role involves maintaining and patching OpenText applications developing and supporting system integrations performing complex configurations and supporting the amalgamation of six OT instances into one. This initiative will reduce support and licensing complexity while improving business partner experience.
Key Responsibilities
General Duties
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment to design and implement digital services and integrations.
- Participate in user research field work backlog creation prioritization and effort estimation.
- Lead technical solution design in partnership with stakeholders.
- Ensure quality delivery through testing code reviews CI/CD automation and best practices.
- Maintain documentation source control and long-term codebase sustainability.
- Provide implementation deployment and operational readiness support.
OpenText-Specific Duties
- Analysis of Specifications Review requirements and designs propose OT development/configuration options and clarify business needs.
- Application Support Apply patches monitor system health ensure uptime and deploy changes.
- Development & Configuration Develop/configure OT Content Server integrations APIs metadata syncing taxonomy permissions retention policies records management workspaces and reporting.
- Migration Map transform and load documents into OT based on taxonomy/metadata with reconciliation reporting.
- Implementation Support testing dry-runs issue resolution and deployment.
- Operational Readiness Provide documentation sustainment guidance and knowledge transfer to support teams.

- Technical specifications (Integration Application Migration)

- Backup support for OT system administration across PROD/QA/DEV
- Implementation support and deployment documentation
- Operating guide knowledge transfer and training input
Equipment & Work Conditions
- Resource must provide own computer (Windows preferred for AVD compatibility).
- Province provides system access; contractor provides all equipment/software.
- Role is primarily remote (within Canada) with occasional onsite meetings (up to 3 4 times per month).
- Standard hours: 08:15 16:30 Alberta time Mon Fri (excl. holidays).
- Travel/relocation expenses not covered.

Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Degree/diploma in Computer Science IT or related field.
- 2 years experience with:
- OpenText Content Server and related components
- Integration of OT Content Server with enterprise systems
- Application development in large enterprise IT environments
Nice-to-Have:
- 2 years experience with:
- Document migration (mapping transformation loading in OT)
- OpenText solution design (development & configuration)
- Business requirements evaluation & technical design in OT
- OpenText workflows
- Information standards and business applicability
- Database technologies and schemas
