IntraOperative Technologist (Permanent Role) Location: Dallas TX 75226
Shift: 12-hr Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Job Summary:
The Intra Operative Technologist under the supervision of a Radiologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures on patients as requested by a physician. This role involves operating specialized equipment and ensuring accurate imaging during medical procedures contributing to successful patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intraoperative imaging procedures on patients as per the physicians orders.
- Operate GE CARMS and OEC equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist the Radiologist during procedures by providing necessary imaging support.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere to all safety infection control and hospital protocols.
- Keep detailed records of procedures and imaging results.
- Ensure compliance with ARRT-R guidelines and standards during all imaging processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience; OR experience preferred.
- Certification/License/Registration:
- ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
- State of Texas MRT certification required (No LMRT)
