Location: Watertown NY 13601
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hour DAYS
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2232 - $2376; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Supervisor to join a Long-Term Care (LTC) / Post-Acute Care facility in Watertown NY for a 13-week contract role. The RN Supervisor will oversee clinical operations during assigned shifts ensuring high standards of care regulatory compliance and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff on shift including LPNs and CNAs
- Coordinate patient care activities admissions discharges and transfers
- Provide direct nursing care as needed
- Monitor residents conditions and report any changes to the physician and interdisciplinary team
- Ensure compliance with facility policies state and federal regulations
- Act as a liaison between staff residents families and administration
- Maintain accurate documentation in medical records
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate clinical interventions
- Participate in shift reports and quality assurance initiatives
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN Supervisor or Charge Nurse in an LTC or Post-Acute Care setting
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- EMR experience preferred
