Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12 hour DAYS
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2232 - $2376; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a Long Term Care (LTC) facility in Utica NY. The RN Supervisor will oversee clinical operations during the day shift ensuring high-quality patient care proper staffing and adherence to all clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing staff during the day shift to ensure delivery of compassionate high-quality care
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and provide leadership in patient care planning
- Monitor resident care to ensure care plans are being followed appropriately
- Act as a resource for nursing staff regarding clinical decisions and resident concerns
- Communicate with physicians families and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with NY state regulations and facility policies
- Respond promptly to emergency situations
- Document assessments care and services accurately and timely
Requirements:
- Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTC experience Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
