We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a well-established healthcare facility in this vital role you will provide high-quality anaesthesia care across a range of surgical procedures working alongside a collaborative medical team in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Administer appropriate anesthesia techniques medications and adjunct therapies for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Conduct preoperative evaluations review patient charts assess lab results and develop comprehensive anaesthesia care plans.
Perform intubation and extubation procedures; manage airways and respond to emergency situations including initiating CPR.
Collaborate effectively with surgeons anesthesiologists nurses and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Uphold high standards of patient safety confidentiality and clinical documentation.
Qualifications
Education: o Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) o Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (Masters or Doctoral level)
Licensure & Certification: o Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama o National Certification (NBCRNA) initial and current o Active certifications in BLS ACLS and PALS
Experience & Skills:
Proficiency with anesthesia equipment and medications o Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
