Job Description
MW Partners is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to work for our client who is a global leader in the media and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Support planning function for overhead and development including monthly forecasts annual budgets and long range plans
- Analyze operating expenses and assist with variance explanations between actuals budget and forecasts
- Maintain and manage master data for development term deals and projects
- Prepare development reserve reconciliations and related journal entries
- Contribute to various ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance/accounting required
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience
- Entertainment industry experience highly preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; experience in Oracle Cognos TM1 SAP BW Report a plus
- Strong analytical skills attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
