Role Overview Accounting Leader / Director /ManagerWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounting Leader with strong technical expertise and significant Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience. This individual will play a critical role in supporting ongoing and future M&A transactions as well as driving complex special projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep accounting knowledge with proven ability to manage high-stakes cross-functional initiatives.
The Director (Sr. Manager) of Accounting will be the strategic partner working with key finance and business stakeholders to support the special ad hoc transactions . This role will lead the accounting transactions review support due diligence process and assist to operationalize the complex accounting transactions.
The ideal candidate must have a strong accounting/tax/finance and M&A background. This candidate should be familiar with US GAAP accounting guidance and be able to independently work on the transactions. The candidate should have proven history of conducting research preparing and documenting the workpaper assist in month-end close and financial statement review and communicate the conclusions to broader financial/accounting stakeholders.
Experience
15 years accounting experience with strong technical background
Experience in M&A transactions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong prioritization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated driven individual who is comfortable working in a global high-pressure and rapidly evolving business environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct M&A due diligence and review third party deliverables
Work closely internally and externally to drive to operationalize the ad hoc transactions
Prepare and document the workpaper to support accounting positions
Review journal entries as needed
Assist in month-end close and financial reporting review
Support ad hoc project analysis and reporting as require
