Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Supplier
LOCATION: Kinston NC
PAY RATE: Up to $41/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (6-12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: Primarily 1st Shift (flexibility required for global supplier interaction)
Per Diem: Available additional $110.00 per week on top of base pay
Travel: Up to 25% for on-site supplier audits
Passport: Active U.S. Passport required

Summary:

Plan organize and execute supplier audits quality inspections and process surveys
Monitor and report on supplier compliance with quality systems contracts and purchase orders
Review and maintain procurement quality procedures in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
Represent the company in supplier interactions and quality improvement efforts
Conduct training and lead initiatives to enhance supplier quality and productivity
Provide technical support on quality system education to internal teams suppliers and customers
Ensure supplier manufacturing processes special processes and final products meet contract and regulatory requirements
Confirm that suppliers maintain approved Quality Systems (ISO 9001 AS9100)

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001 AS9100) and quality tools
Solid understanding of engineering drawings specifications GD&T and manufacturing processes
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Supply Chain Management or equivalent in the Aerospace or Automotive industry
Experience directly engaging with suppliers for quality approvals and issue resolution
Skilled in quality assurance root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Demonstrated ability to address quality issues professionally and drive resolution
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor s degree preferred
Experience in automotive or pharmaceutical industries considered a plus
