Job Summary

Role: Intranet SharePoint Designer/Developer/ Architect

Location: St paul/ MN Remote from USA

Duration: 1 year

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing content and provide recommendations for enhancements to information architecture organization and navigation as pertains to a move to SharePoint.
Gather requirements for a move to SharePoint through meetings with multiple stakeholders.
Create a new intranet graphic design and create page templates in a SharePoint Communication site.
Create a migration plan for the new site ensuring proper formatting and organization.
Recommend proper permissions and create those that are approved.
Create new SharePoint site using accessible templates and design.
Migrate existing content to the new SharePoint site as applicable per approved migration plan.
Assist in site launch planning and integration with existing SharePoint sites.
Provide guidance and planning for change management and user adoption.
Provide technical training during hand-off of completed site.
Provide knowledge transfer to State staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience managing/completing projects involving any or all of the following:
- SharePoint development including site design customization and administration.
- Definition and implementation of SharePoint architecture and features utilizing best practices.
- Planning and execution of content strategy or information architecture.
- Migration of an intranet site from another system into SharePoint.
- Definition and enablement of SharePoint permissions workflows data retention and governance.
- Integration of Microsoft 365 with SharePoint.
- Analysis and interpretation of user requirements and development of solutions based on those requirements.
- Graphic design.
- Creation of accessible SharePoint templates per WCAG 2.1 and Section 508.
- Guidance and planning for change management and user adoption.
- Technical training during hand-off of completed SharePoint site(s).
