Role: Intranet SharePoint Designer/Developer/ Architect

Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing content and provide recommendations for enhancements to information architecture organization and navigation as pertains to a move to SharePoint.
- Gather requirements for a move to SharePoint through meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Create a new intranet graphic design and create page templates in a SharePoint Communication site.
- Create a migration plan for the new site ensuring proper formatting and organization.
- Recommend proper permissions and create those that are approved.
- Create new SharePoint site using accessible templates and design.
- Migrate existing content to the new SharePoint site as applicable per approved migration plan.
- Assist in site launch planning and integration with existing SharePoint sites.
- Provide guidance and planning for change management and user adoption.
- Provide technical training during hand-off of completed site.
- Provide knowledge transfer to State staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience managing/completing projects involving any or all of the following:
- SharePoint development including site design customization and administration.
- Definition and implementation of SharePoint architecture and features utilizing best practices.
- Planning and execution of content strategy or information architecture.
- Migration of an intranet site from another system into SharePoint.
- Definition and enablement of SharePoint permissions workflows data retention and governance.
- Integration of Microsoft 365 with SharePoint.
- Analysis and interpretation of user requirements and development of solutions based on those requirements.
- Graphic design.
- Creation of accessible SharePoint templates per WCAG 2.1 and Section 508.
- Guidance and planning for change management and user adoption.
- Technical training during hand-off of completed SharePoint site(s).
