A leading organisation is looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Head of Equipment Advisory and Technology Services to join its high-performing Aftermarket and Digital Solutions team. This senior-level role is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep expertise in equipment management digital enablement and technology-driven transformation.
Working from the Isando Head Office the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving innovation customer-centric digital solutions and profitable site-based offerings across diverse industry verticals. This is a high-impact leadership role with broad accountability and visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the digital enablement strategy across Southern Africa
- Lead the Dealer Excellence Programme focusing on connectivity data and platform adoption
- Develop and implement strategic equipment management solutions
- Drive growth of condition monitoring capabilities and best practices
- Champion technology adoption across mining and construction sectors
- Oversee development of customer value agreements and profitable site solutions
- Lead a cross-functional business insights and innovation team
- Build strong stakeholder relationships with Key Accounts Regional Management and OEM partners
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering IT Digital Technology or related field (essential)
- Postgraduate qualification and Project/Programme Management certification (advantageous)
- 5 years in business management with operational and equipment management experience
- 3 years leading digital or technology transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of mining operations and mobile fleet maintenance strategies
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic leadership capabilities
- Proven ability to influence negotiate and develop people at a senior level
