A leading manufacturing business in the sheet metal industry is looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to join their finance team. This is a dynamic and hands-on role suited to a qualified finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in driving operational and financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full financial management including preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Oversee budgeting forecasting and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS tax and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic input and financial insights to support management decision-making.
- Monitor costings stock and project profitability within the manufacturing environment.
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors banks and other stakeholders.
- Implement and enhance internal controls systems and processes.
- Lead and mentor junior finance staff.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) newly qualified or up to 3 years post-articles experience.
- Previous exposure to the manufacturing or industrial sector will be highly advantageous.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS Tax Compliance).
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems beneficial.
- Analytical detail-oriented and solutions-driven.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with both finance and operations teams.
