About the Position:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Developer with previous hands-on experience leading developing and deploying scalable software solutions. Our remote backend software development team is comprised of talented engineers who are committed to writing clean quality code. Some travel for team meetings and training may be required.

Key Responsibilities: (What youll be asked to do)

• Ability to write and review high-quality well-architected code in our back end and database technologies (C# .NET MSSQL).
• Lead the software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities up to and including release planning requirement gathering design configurations sprint planning creating and executing test cases and analyzing results.
• Take ownership of assigned features up to and including the shepherding of projects through production release while partnering with QA and business stakeholders to ensure everything is correct.
• Communicate complex concepts and negotiate (nicely) with others to adopt and appreciate different points of view.
• Experience coaching mentoring and developing fellow coders and less experienced team members.

Some Requirements:

• 10 years of experience working as a senior-level backend developer with project lead responsibilities.
• Experience working in 3 different environments where you made significant contributions to the business.

Education:

• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience is required.

Computer Skills:

• Fluent C# and MSSQL.
• Were a MS Office environment (Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Experience using video and chat technology (MSTeams & Slack).

Other:

• Reliable high-speed internet connectivity required.
• Designated quiet work from home space.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $170000.00 - $185000.00 per year benefits. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of what Swyfft may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills qualifications and experience. The range reflects annual compensation (as applicable) and does not include bonuses or other incentives that the company may choose to pay at its sole discretion.
