What Youll Do:

As a Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to:

Collaborate with your team to design and implement new features or enhancements for our cloud-based email security platform.
Work on a global distributed infrastructure using modern Java services.
Deliver AWS-based Java services through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming planning design reviews and code reviews.
Take part in troubleshooting and resolving issues alongside experienced engineers.
Keep up to date with technology trends and apply new knowledge to your work.
Engage in a culture of collaboration problem-solving and continuous learning.

What Youll Bring

Were looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow and who bring:

A genuine interest in software engineering and willingness to learn new technologies.
Some experience with Java or object-oriented programming.
Enthusiasm for cloud technologiesexperience with AWS is a bonus but not required.
An interest in learning about CI/CD practices and tools (such as Jenkins).
Ability to work well in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
Curiosity and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and personal growth.
Some exposure to troubleshooting and debugging software.

Nice to Have

Exposure to cloud platforms (especially AWS) modern development practices or email technologies.
Interest in secure coding practices and understanding of software security.

The UK base salary range for this position is base benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus incentive plans and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
