The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach on-site for our Education program during the second eight-week term starting October 27th 2025. You will report to our Associate Dean of the School of Arts Sciences and Education.

The following courses are available to teach:

DEV126: Precursors of Academic Skills
- Tuesday 11 am - 12:15 pm and Thursday 8:00 am - 9:15 am

What youll do:

Deliver in-person instruction aligned with course goals and SNHU standards.
Facilitate discussions and activities that connect theory to practice in early childhood education.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Communicate with students and support their academic success.
Collaborate with department staff to ensure course continuity and quality.
Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course

What were looking for:

Masters degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Teaching or a related field.
2 years of experience supporting the development of young children in an educational setting and an understanding of developmental theory emerging literacy practices and childrens literature.

Compensation

The standard compensation for courses is $2800 - $3400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.
