The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University is looking for an Adjunct Instructor to teach on-site for our Education program during the second eight-week term starting October 27th 2025. You will report to our Associate Dean of the School of Arts Sciences and Education.
The following courses are available to teach:
What youll do:
- Deliver in-person instruction aligned with course goals and SNHU standards.
- Facilitate discussions and activities that connect theory to practice in early childhood education.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate with students and support their academic success.
- Collaborate with department staff to ensure course continuity and quality.
- Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course
What were looking for:
- Masters degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Teaching or a related field.
- 2 years of experience supporting the development of young children in an educational setting and an understanding of developmental theory emerging literacy practices and childrens literature.
