As a modeler within our Data Modeling squad you help us make modeled data available to users of the new Data & Analytics Platform for Non-life & Income (called SIDAP). This new platform enables us to achieve our data ambitions by leveraging the scalability of the Azure cloud making a broader range of data sources available and offering more freedom in data usage.
Within the Data Modeling squad we work with a team of nine colleagues on the central data warehouse model for NN Non-life & Income. We follow the Data Vault 2.0 methodology using a data warehouse automation tool. This allows us to quickly add new sources to our data model and deliver the data through data marts to various user groups within Non-life & Income. Our data marts are used as input for rate analysis various dashboards and reporting. Your work is important because you lay a crucial foundation for fair pricing for NN customers and reliable reporting to shareholders and regulators.

Youll work daily with your colleagues in the Data Modeling squad and weekly with other squads focused on infrastructure data integration and data quality. Everyone in the team works agile as do most of the other departments youll interact with. The department has an international setting where both Dutch and English are spoken.
The team consists of experienced modelers. We have weekly contact with our end users to explain the data model or implement improvements. Youll have plenty of focus time to work independently from home but we also collaborate a lot online. Once a week all SIDAP squads meet at the office to solve problems togetherand of course to enjoy each others company!
