Description
This position is responsible for performing major repairs and preventative maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are consistently achieved and maintained.
Benefits
$17.50/hr

Responsibilities
Clean and maintain the exercise room
Keep grounds clear of visible trash and clean the parking lot sidewalks breezeways stairs and entrance thoroughly including weed removal
Perform guest room preventative maintenance in alignment with brand standards
Implement and follow the IHG Way of Clean protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
Assemble repair and maintain hotel furniture and fixtures as needed
Report any problems that would interfere with guest satisfaction
Keep the storage area clean daily and lock all storage areas before clocking out
Ensure that there are sufficient housekeeping supplies on each floor and adequate linens and supplies in stock
Verify that all exterior lights are functioning properly
Report and resolve any safety hazards throughout the hotel
Ensure that the stockroom maintains sufficient inventory to last at least two weeks
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required
Hospitality experience preferred
Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent combination of education and maintenance experience preferred
Associates degree in mechanical electrical or industrial maintenance preferred
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
