Join the pulse of the trading floor at Belvedere Trading where tradition and innovation converge on the dynamic SOFR pit. As a Floor Trader youll play a critical role in providing liquidity and driving performance in the open outcry marketplace. Your deep understanding of the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) market you will analyze data identify trading opportunities and manage risk in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in interest rate products and a background in open outcry or voice/chat market making. This role offers the opportunity to apply your market insights and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment where every trade makes an impact.
In this role you will collaborate closely with colleagues across trading research and technology to continuously optimize strategies and enhance performance. Your expertise in risk assessment and trade execution will be instrumental in driving profitability and maintaining Belvederes competitive edge.
What youll do
- Apply knowledge gained from previous trading experience while learning new strategies
- Utilize cutting edge proprietary software designed by our technology team
- Work alongside other experienced traders to learn Belvederes proprietary systems and portfolio analysis
- Discover opportunities for growth and expansion
- Execute trades in a fast-paced environment with precision and a focus on maximizing profitability.
- Develop and refine tools to evaluate risk analyze positional opportunities and enhance trade efficiency in SOFR and related markets.
- Analyze market data to identify trends price dislocations and opportunities for optimized trade execution
What youll need
- Experience trading in an open outcry pit
- Strong quantitative skills with a proficiency in probability and statistics
- An ability to apply quantitative skills and logical reasoning to solve complex problems
- Proven ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to continuously learn and proactively improve processes
$150000 - $200000 a year
