Job Description
COLSA is hiring for a UAS Production Manager to lead exciting unmanned aerial systems projects. Youll oversee production workflows guide a skilled team and act a key client liaison - ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Responsible for the overall management of the Production staff; provides managerial guidance to team of UAS engineers technicians and specialists regarding production workflow operations and problem solving based on expertise and knowledge
- Responsible for ensuring that staffing facilities equipment etc. are adequate for successful completion of the task/project
- Responsible for preparing department specific reports as required by government or customer
- Develops policies guidelines and procedures and recommends changes to procedure when needed
- Works alongside other UAS team leads and managers to ensure customer satisfaction relating to technical contract performance; may work independently as needed
- Coordinates some logistics elements including but not limited to spares support equipment training facilities technical data and provisioning
- Controls the flow of assets services and information between point of origin through receipt in order to meet customer requirement
- Serves as liaison between department and other departments as well as with outside customers regulatory personnel etc.
