You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Pharmacy Manager Enterprise Pharmacy Research works under the direction of the Pharmacy Director Investigational Drug Services. Works closely and collaboratively with pharmacy leadership and staff across Mayo Clinic; research administration; research investigators and staff. Provides leadership and direction to assigned pharmacy staff.
The Senior Manager Enterprise Pharmacy Research is responsible for providing leadership and management of pharmacy research programs and services. This individual is a recognized pharmacy leader and provides strong visible values driven leadership and advocacy for pharmacy. Manages pharmacy research operations that are aligned with the overall department program and Practice goals incorporates best practices emphasizes the safety and optimized outcomes of our patients and delivers the highest value care to our patients and the organization. Ensures incorporation alignment with and support of departmental and research strategic vision direction and priorities. Manages pharmacy research services to ensure that all quality legal regulatory and accreditation standards are met or exceeded. Actively participates in and supports pharmacy education programs and scholarly activity.
This hybrid position will include both on-site and remote responsibilities. Must be located within driving distance of one of the Mayo Clinic campuses in Arizona Jacksonville or Rochester.
Minimum education and/or experience required:
Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy degree (or Pharmacy BS degree if graduated before 2000).
Completion of an accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency; or completion of an accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency and a minimum of 2 years applicable pharmacy experience or a minimum of 4 years applicable pharmacy experience.
Applicable experience includes providing developing implementing and overseeing progressive pharmacy research services and/or proven history of providing progressive pharmacy research services and leadership as a pharmacist.
Board Certified by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties in a clinical specialty (Required within two years).
Current license to practice Pharmacy in the state he/she is located.

The following are preferred:
Previous supervisory/management experience.
Proven history of managing progressive pharmacy research services in an integrated healthcare system.
Experience with protocol activation work within an investigational pharmacy setting.
Exceptional collaboration and change management skills.
Completion of leadership or management educational programs (e.g. ASHP leadership program Mayo programs).
History of active participation and leadership in pharmacy professional organizations.
