Job Summary

Job Title: Adult Education English Language Learner (ELL) Instructor

Summary:
We are seeking a part-time evening instructor to teach English Language Learners (ELL) for up to 10 hours per week. This role requires a bachelors degree and at least two years of adult education teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

Provide effective ELL instruction that integrates workforce training employment exploration and EL/Civics standards
Incorporate technology and a variety of interactive teaching methods to engage students
Administer standardized assessments and maintain required documentation and student follow-up
Participate in professional development to support continuous improvement
Perform additional ELL duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required
At least two years of successful teaching experience (adult education preferred)
Experience with ELL instruction preferred
Basic technology skills to support student learning
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
