The Opportunity
Are you a compassionate and motivated leader eager to make a meaningful impact As a Home Care Team Leader at UPA you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our dedicated team of Care Workers to deliver exceptional person-centred care. You will ensure clients remain safe independent and connected within their communities all while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.

We have an exciting opportunity to join ourteam based in our Dubbo office.

About the Role
Reporting to the Home Care Service Manager youll be responsible for leading supervising and supporting a team of Care Workers in the delivery of safe and consistent home care services. This includes workforce planning team development onboarding and mentoring new staff and ensuring compliance with policies and care standards.

Your role will also involve:

Providing day-to-day leadership and acting as a positive role model
Supporting recruitment retention and training of team members
Coordinating and monitoring staff rosters and leave to maintain service delivery
Facilitating team meetings staff development and on-the-job mentoring
Ensuring practices align with UPAs policies guidelines and Code of Conduct
Promoting a safe working environment through safety audits and risk assessments

What You Bring

Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising staff
Understanding of current Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards
Minimum Certificate III in Community Services Aged Care or equivalent qualification
Excellent interpersonal communication and team-building skills
Strong planning organisational and problem-solving abilities
Current unrestricted Driver Licence
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
