Program Director
Location: Maryland (onsite/hybrid)
The Position
The Program Director will provide R&D leadership and comprehensive project management for an IND-enabling program. This role requires strong scientific expertise experience in project and CRO management and the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality study data within budget and timeline constraints while fostering effective collaboration among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead an IND-enabling program to readiness.
- Design and oversee integrated plans across GLP tox safety pharm PK/PD biomarkers and CMC.
- Manage vendor CRO and CDMO logistics budgets and deliverables.
- Contribute to regulatory preparations and agency interactions
Core Qualifications and Experience
- PhD in biochemistry cell and molecular biology pharmacology immunology neurobiology or related field.
- 510 years leading IND-enabling programs in biotech/pharma.
- Proven track record of CRO/CDMO management.
- Strong scientific writing and regulatory documentation skills; experience with pre-IND/IND FDA interactions.
