**Core Duties:**
- Coordinate appropriate referrals to community and governmental agencies for services.
- Independently assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and their family members formulating and implementing a treatment plan that identifies the patients problems strengths weaknesses coping abilities and required assistance in collaboration with the patient family and interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide psychosocial treatment to a diverse array of individuals representing various socio-economic cultural ethnic educational and other backgrounds.
- Utilize medical and mental health diagnoses disabilities and treatment procedures encompassing acute chronic and traumatic illnesses and injuries common medications and their effects and related medical terminology.
- Implement various treatment modalities when working with individuals families and groups experiencing a range of psychiatric medical and social challenges to achieve established treatment goals.
- Provide independent counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals groups couples and families ensuring practice remains within the boundaries of licensure or certification.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Degree/Education:** Masters degree in social work (MSW) from a School of Social Work that is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).-
**Experience:** A minimum of two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years in the independent practice of clinical social work with adults in an outpatient clinical setting.-
**Licensure:** A current full active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.- **Life Support Certification
:** Current certification as a Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from the American Red Cross (ARC) or the American Heart Association (AHA).-
**Security:** The ability to successfully pass a Government background check and obtain security clearance.
