Inspector/Packer
Pay: $18/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 p.m. 6:00 a.m.
Location: Sand Springs OK

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector/Packer to join a rail products company in Sand Springs. This role involves both inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes with duties split 50/50 on a rotating schedule. The Inspector/Packer must be dependable safety-focused and capable of thriving in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection Duties (50%)
Visually examine forged spikes for cracks pits laps discoloration scale or deformation.
Use preset gauges to verify spike dimensions and head shape.
Monitor product movement on conveyor lines to prevent or clear jams.
Packaging Duties (50%)
Operate automated filler equipment to ensure containers meet weight requirements.
Adjust and set load scales when necessary.
Manually position and transfer filled containers to pallets.
Label containers with product details and maintain accurate records.
Additional Tasks
Occasionally operate a forklift to move palletized kegs to docks shrink-wrap stations or storage.
Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of measurement tools and gauges.
Forklift experience preferred (training may be provided).
Strong work ethic and dependability.
