Job Description
Infosys is seeking an API Automation Test Lead.
As a API Automation Test Lead you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
4 years of Information Technology experience.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance ofFort Mill SC/ Austin TXor be willing to relocate to one of these areas.
This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
At least 4 years of software testing experience.
Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
At least 4 years hands on experience in test automation tools Postman Rest Assured framework using Java Cucumber & SQL Or Karate Test Automation Framework
Experience with tools such as TestNG IntelliJ GitHub and Eclipse
Knowledge and experience working in a CICD pipeline environment (GitHub Actions)
Must be Proficient in Agile methodology and experience with Jira designing Testcases Test Execution as well as experience documenting software defects.
Maintain automated test scripts libraries for Functional Regression testing.
Hands on experience in Java Programming and SQL
Experience in designing and building test automation framework.
At least 4 years of experience in leading testing teams taking complete ownership of deliverables.
Experience in Test Deliveries in an onsite offshore model.
Experience in creating Automation Test Strategy and Test Plan
Excellent coordination and communication skills
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and liaison with business teams to support SIT testing.
Good knowledge of Financial Services domain and business functional processes
At least 4 years of experience on Automation Testing (SIT and UAT) test execution analysis & reporting
At least 4 years of experience in using any programming language like Java
Basic knowledge about Kong gateway
Knowledge of Selenium automation for UI applications
Thorough understanding of test automation UI/Backend test automation concepts
Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Abilities in Test Strategizing planning and co-ordination.
Ability to contribute towards in depth technical content required on test automation proposals.
Translate user requirements and application features into testing requirements.
Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
