Salary 24796 - 25185 per annum Permanent Part-time 25 hours per week Preston Lancashire St Ignatius Primary School

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire serving over 60000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.

You will work as part of a team within St Ignatius Primary School Preston producing fresh high quality healthy balanced meals school children each day. You must have previous experience in kitchens. With a proven track record in similar position.

Key responsibilities:

Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans

Direct and/or supervise other employees

Order supplies and store deliveries

Maintain records and stock control

What we are looking for:

Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirable

Experience of catering for large numbers is also desirable

Working Hours/Days: 5 hours per day/25 weekly. Monday to Friday/ Term time only.

Plus four cleaning days
