In this role you will be responsible for patrolling the road network while inspecting the road surface and associated infrastructure including catchpits signs footpaths and culverts. Completing both programmed repairs and finding and fixing as required. You will develop an understanding of your area and take ownership of its daily/weekly/monthly maintenance requirements.
In addition to the above you will:
- Carry out minor repairs to roadways signs and structures
- Respond to road callouts within times stipulated by contract documents
- Ensure all plant under your control is correctly maintained and Inform management if repairs are required
- Follow general instructions as set out by your manager

Were looking for someone with:
- Current full Class 1 driver licence
- Class 2 driver licence is preferable
- Be physically fit with strong communication skills
- The ability to create and maintain accurate paperwork
- Basic technology skills including operating an iPad
- General practical skills and abilities
- Able to work unsupervised and maintain Safety Quality and Productivity standards.
