Job Summary:

The Senior Manager Patient Navigation will oversee the delivery growth and evaluation of ZEROs patient navigation services nationwide. Reporting to the Sr. Director Patient Navigation this role will provide leadership to a team of Patient Navigators ensure consistent quality of support and strengthen partnerships that enhance the programs reach and impact.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise mentor and support the Patient Navigation team including centralized and community-based navigators clinic-based navigators and volunteers.
  • Ensure consistent processes standards and quality of care across navigation services.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director to develop strategy program goals and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data and outcomes to identify trends improve services and demonstrate impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare systems community partners and advocacy groups.
  • Serve as a senior resource for escalated patient cases.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work Nursing Public Health or related field preferred.
  • 5 7 years of experience in patient navigation case management or healthcare program management.
  • Supervisory experience required preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems benefits and cancer support resources.
  • Excellent communication leadership and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in cancer care health education or chronic disease management.
  • Supervisory experience leading patient-facing staff or program teams.
  • Familiarity with prostate cancer patient needs
  • Experience developing program strategy goals and evaluation frameworks.
  • Skilled in data analysis reporting and using insights to guide program improvement.
  • Clinical background with direct patient interaction experience (e.g. social work nursing radiation therapy patient advocacy or similar).
  • Strong understanding of the cancer care continuum with emphasis on prostate cancer treatment and survivorship support.
  • Experience in patient education care coordination or guiding individuals/families through complex healthcare systems.
  • Familiarity with community resources support services and healthcare navigation best practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant use of a computer and other office productivity equipment such as computer printer calculator and copier.
  • Prolonged periods of a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • The ability to recognize details at close range for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

This role will report directly to the Sr. Director Patient Navigation and support ZEROs mission to improve and save lives from prostate cancer through advocacy education awareness and support.

This position is based remotely and candidates may live in any area within the United States. Travel will be required nationwide approximately 20% of the time.
