ROLE: Network Support Specialist/Systems Administrators

ELIGIBILITY FOR FAVORABLE U.S. DHS SUITABILITY INVESTIGATION

Five (5) to 10 years experience in supporting informationsystems/network administration
Currently active DoD 8140 compliance strongly preferred
Ability to work onsite as needed at one of three GOV locations in Arlington VA ORin Pensacola FL.
ABILITY TO COVER ONE OF THREE SHIFTSto support 24x7x365 IT Support:
- DAY SHIFT: M-F 0700-1530 ONSITE GOV location; SAT-SUN Alternate Worksite
- EVE SHIFT: MON-SUN 1500-2330 Alternate Worksite
- NIGHT SHIFT: MON-SUN 2300-0730 Alternate Worksite

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install configure and support an organizations local area network (LAN) wide area network (WAN) and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
May assist in network modeling analysis planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
May administer network security measures.
