Job Summary
Data Scientist Hybrid in Guadalajara Jalisco
We are seeking a curious analytical and results-driven Data Scientist with 5 years of experience in data analytics machine learning and statistical modeling. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning complex data into actionable insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics and classification tasks
Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production systems
Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
Perform data wrangling feature engineering and model evaluation
Ensure data integrity reproducibility and documentation of all analytical processes
Stay current with advancements in data science AI and cloud technologies

Technical Skills Required:
5 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics
Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn TensorFlow or PyTorch
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau or similar)
Solid understanding of statistics probability and machine learning algorithms
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NLP time-series forecasting or recommendation systems
Knowledge of MLOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with big data tools (Spark Hadoop)
Exposure to version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
Experience working with business stakeholders in retail finance or telecom sectors
Location & Schedule:
- Location: Hybrid Guadalajara Jalisco (3 days on-site at NTT Data offices Av. Mariano Otero 1249).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 6:00 PM.
- Candidates must reside in Guadalajara or nearby areas (Zapopan Tlaquepaque etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Fluent in English (Advanced) C1 - C2
- Excellent communication teamwork commitment and a proactive attitude
