Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Data Migration Lead to join our team in LATAM. In this critical role you will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex data migration projects across the region ensuring seamless transitions and data integrity throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data migration strategies and methodologies for large-scale projects involving Conga CPQ & CLM solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data migration specialists providing technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope requirements and timelines.
  • Design and oversee the execution of data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Analyse source and target systems to identify data requirements inconsistencies and potential migration challenges.
  • Define and configure data models build migration scripts and utilize existing or custom tools for data transformation and loading.
  • Implement processes to ensure data is accurately transformed cleansed and migrated maintaining its integrity and quality.
  • Conduct thorough data quality assessments and implement data cleansing procedures.
  • Plan and conduct data validation tests to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data.
  • Optimize the data migration process for efficiency and automation identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful migrations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all migration processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regional data protection regulations including LGPD and other LATAM-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data migration efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve data migration processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in data migration projects with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of Conga CPQ & CLM solutions.
  • Proficiency in the Salesforce platform including custom development APIs and integration capabilities.
  • Extensive experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Talend or AWS Glue.
  • Strong analytical skills to profile cleanse and transform large datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL data modeling and scripting languages (e.g. Python Shell).
  • Experience with data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance quality management and compliance.
  • Familiarity with regional data protection regulations particularly LGPD.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage project tasks timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CDMP AWS Certified Data Analytics) are preferred.
