The opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced Technical Specialist to join our Workers Compensation team within theNominal Insurer will beworking ona diverseportfolioof claims ranging from new claims through to long tail claims and will beaccountable for providing coachingtrainingand advice to Case Managers onlegislativelegal and technical claim strategies.
Your new role
Delivering prompt and effective specialist technical claims advice
Working together with the Injury Management Specialist and Service Managerto provide guidance and support to maximise outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all legislation industry codes and company policies. Actively monitor developments within the industry to continuously develop knowledge of insurance guidelines policy changes and modifications.
Identify opportunities to review develop and modify processes proceduresstandardsand guidelines that support innovation improved performance and improved customer experience
About you
Extensive experience in a workers compensation claims role orsimilarrole
Broad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations
Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching decision making and technical claims management
Excellent people communication written and networking skills
Demonstrated ability to work towards set targets and compliance measures
Sound computer skills and an ability to prioritise
