AbouttheRole
We are launching a new delivery accelerator program and are seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to guide our SRE practice and drive reliability at scale. The ideal candidate will not only design build and operate resilient infrastructure but also provide technical leadership set best practices and mentor 3 engineers to ensure the reliability and scalability of mission-critical products.
KeyResponsibilities
- ProvidetechnicalleadershipfortheSREteamsettingstandardsforreliabilityscalabilityandsecurity.
- Leadthedesignandimplementationofcloudinfrastructureanddriveadoptionofautomationmonitoringandobservabilitysolutions.
- Actasaprimarypointofescalationforcomplextechnicalissuesguidingresolutioneffortsandensuringlong-termstability.
- PartnercloselywithcustomersincludingLATAMstakeholderstounderstandbusinessneedsanddeliverreliablesolutions.
- Mentorandcoachteammembersfosteringacultureofcontinuousimprovementandoperationalexcellence.
- Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstotroubleshootresolveandproactivelypreventproductionincidents.
- Championinnovationbyidentifyingopportunitiestooptimizesystemsandprocessesintroducingnewtoolsandpracticeswherebeneficial.
Qualifications
- 5yearsofexperienceinSiteReliabilityEngineeringorDevOpsincludingleadershipormentorshipresponsibilities.
- Proventrackrecordofdesigningandoperatinglarge-scalecloud-basedinfrastructure(AWSAzureorGCP).
- ExpertiseinautomationCI/CDpipelinesmonitoringandobservabilitytools.
- Hands-onexperiencewithcontainerizationorchestration(KubernetesDocker)andinfrastructure-as-codetools(TerraformAnsibleetc.).
- Excellentproblem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytomakesounddecisionsunderpressure.
- Strongcommunicationandcustomer-facingskillscapableofworkingeffectivelyacrossculturesandgeographies.
- AdvancedEnglishproficiency(C1orC2)withprovensuccesscollaboratinginglobalEnglish-speakingenvironments.
