Job Description

Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: Grange Community Nursery and Primary School

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 4 - 6

Actual Salary Pro-Rata: 18518 - 19109

Contract type: Fixed Term Until 31stAugust 2026 in the first instance

Hours: 08:30am-15:30pm per week// Term Time only Induction days

Due to the increase of pupil numbers at our school the governors and Headteacher at
Grange Community Nursery and Primary School would like to appoint an enthusiastic
Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and inspirational team. We are looking for
someone who has the skills and knowledge to work across our key stage one and key
stage two classes. This position is for one academic yearin the first instance.

The successful candidate will work alongside the class teachers to deliver high quality
teaching and learning to our fantastic children. We are passionate about our children
having high aspirations for themselves and so we expect the successful candidate to
have high expectations for all children including the SEND and most disadvantaged.
They should also have knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience of working
with primary aged children.

A full training package will be on offer to the successful candidate. We would like to
