This program operates 7 days a week and candidates need to be flexible and available for a variety of shifts including days and afternoons. This includes every other weekend and statutory holidays.
AbleLiving Servicesis a non-profit organization providing personal support services to adults with disabilities and seniors living within their own home or one of our independent living facilities. Our clients direct and customize the services they receive and we support them to maximize their independence and enhance their quality of life. We provide services across the Golden Horseshoe in the Mississauga Burlington Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities.

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator this position is responsible for providing non-medical personal support servces life-skills support and light housekeeping duties to enable clients to remain in their own homes and live as independantly as possible. Duties include assisting clients with personal care arranging and escorting clients to appointments and housekeeping duties are carried out under the direction of the clients and/or their alternate decision maker and is in accordance with the client services contracts laws and regulations governing service provision.
Employment Guide:
Personal Support Worker certificate is not required for this position but is considered an asset.
