Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable maintainable and high-performance software solutions.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases ensuring adherence to best practices and modern software architecture principles.
- Collaborate with other team members ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Contribute to the platforms evolution optimizing performance security and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to adapt to an international team dynamic.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience in PHP.
- Advanced experience in JavaScript JQuery and NodeJS.
- Solid knowledge of AWS including services such as Lambda S3 CloudWatch SQS SNS Dynamo and others.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL) including design optimization and query performance.
- Experience handling legacy code refactoring and improving existing codebases.
- Design Patterns
- Skilled in debugging troubleshooting and refactoring complex codebases.
- Strong background in designing building and consuming REST APIs.
- Advanced English skills both written and spoken.
- Experience with frontend technologies (ReactJS ).
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of design patterns and best practices.
- Ability to refactor and modernize legacy code improving maintainability and performance.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
