Job Summary
Job Title: School RN
Location: Poplar Bluff MO (ZIP 63901)
Schedule: Day Shift (5x7) Monday Friday 8:15 a.m. 3:15 p.m. 13-week contract
Compensation:
Up to $1820 weekly or up to $52/hour (Local rate)
Up to $2100 weekly or up to $60/hour (Travel rate)
Key Responsibilities
Utilize existing resources to provide appropriate healthcare to students and staff.
Assess the status of student and staff immunization documentation as needed.
Promote wellness among students and staff by providing preventative healthcare services including immunizations.
Develop and implement health plans for students with specific health needs.
Conduct health assessments and screenings for deficits in vision hearing growth and/or development of students.
Plan and implement school health management protocols especially for emergency situations.
Provide referrals to parents or staff for intervention and remediation of concerning health conditions.
Offer ongoing health counseling to students parents and staff.
Complete medical paperwork as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
Education & Licensure
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active Missouri RN license
BLS/CPR certification
