JOB DESCRIPTION NARRATIVE:
Registrar is responsible for the maintenance of all transcript information for incoming. and outgoing students. Update transcripts to include new testing information etc. Responsible for printing and distributing progress reports and grade cards each semester. Responsible for completing all withdrawal information on students as wellas updating drop reports
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
High school graduate with secretarial or business experience preferred.
Skills:
Must be able to type file operate business machines have working knowledge of Microsoft Work Microsoft Excel Microsoft Suite and must have exceptional peopleskills.
Machines/Equipment:
Computer printer copy machine multi-line phone system ect.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize Parchment for transcripts of all students.
- Build transcripts for new students.
- Update transcripts for all students (ex. Drivers Ed. Summer School testing information Citizenship test CPR FASFA ICAP PFL etc.)
- Email all requested records on students who move out of district.
- File information in student records.
- Print teacher rosters for verification each grading period.
- Run and finalize incomplete lists of missing grades within 2 weeks of each grading period.
- Proof of enrollment and Social Security forms.
- Monitor office aids.
- Update GPA and Class Rank.
- Assist with pre-enrollment process and type next years master schedule in computer.
- Complete yearly office supplies list.
- Assist with schedule handout.
- Complete yearly drop-out report.
- Cover for office staff when needed.
- Complete verification of education for parchment or emails for background checks.
- Enter all individual study grades virtual alt ed. and concurrent.
- Other duties as requested.
