The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team of project support engineers providing technical infrastructure support to UK Government and Commercial customers. The role will require a flexible working ethic and a pragmatic approach to IT support.

Successful candidates will have great customer service and communication skills. They will have a keen interest in innovation alongside a willingness to implement new ways of working and automation they must also be working onsite 5 days a week.

• Perform Daily checks

• Carry out Patching Windows VMWare

• BAU Support

• Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project

• Hands-on experience with VMWare ESXi vROPS SRM SCCM SCOM Windows 2012 - 2019 Mcafee/Trellix

• Hands-on experience with HP C7000 Blade chassis and interconnect modules

• Hands-on experience of scripting with powershell / powercli

• Understanding of Microsoft AD DNS and GPO

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.

• Manage and troubleshoot ESXi Windows servers clusters and associated technologies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members internal teams other eco partners and the customer.

• Work without direction and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks

• Understands a broad spectrum of the companys technology Windows 2008 to 2019 VMware ESXis in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
